SutramX is the uptime monitor that tells you why, including when it is not your fault: it checks websites, APIs, servers, MCP servers, SSL certificates and cron jobs, confirms outages before alerting, explains every alert, and publishes status pages.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm the maker of SutramX. Every uptime alert I've ever received said the same thing: "Site is down." Then I spent 20 minutes working out whether it was our deploy, Stripe, or a network somewhere. SutramX is built to answer that question in the alert itself. What it does: • Why this alert, on every incident and every plan: each location's result, the confirmation rule, the failure type (DNS, TLS, timeout, 5xx…) and why an alert was or wasn't sent. Plain rules, no AI. • Vendor outage detection: when Stripe, OpenAI or an AWS region fails for several SutramX customers at once, your incident says "likely not your fault", based on our own checks rather than the vendor's status page. • Checks from Indian ISP networks (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL, ACT), so you can tell an ISP-level block from a real outage. • Flakiness score per monitor, so you know which alerts to trust. Also included: HTTP, API, keyword, ping, TCP/UDP, cron, DNS record and MCP server monitors; status pages; WhatsApp, SMS, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty and more. On paid plans, an outage is confirmed from more than one location before anyone is paged. We check from 3 locations today (Frankfurt, Arizona and Mumbai), and we explain exactly how that works here: https://sutramx.com/how-we-check Pricing: Free is 50 monitors with 3-minute checks, no card, no expiry. Paid plans are $12 / $29 / $59 a month (₹599 / ₹1,499 / ₹2,999 with UPI Autopay in India), tax included. Unlimited seats on every plan. I'd love blunt feedback: when an alert fires, what's the first thing you wish it told you?

Comment highlights

A ?status=fail ping says a scheduled job failed, but the request body is ignored, so finding out why still means digging through logs. My companies run on scheduled agent jobs, and when one fails, the first thing I want is the reason the job gave. Have you considered if a fail ping could carry a one-line reason that shows up in the alert?
