I'm a teacher, and Poofed started with my students.
I work with kids who have ADHD, executive function challenges, and other flavors of neurodivergence — and I kept seeing the same thing: a to-do list works for a few days, then turns into a wall of unfinished tasks. That doesn't feel like progress. It feels like proof you're behind.
So I built Poofed around one idea: finishing something should actually feel finished. Check off a task and it poofs — then settles into a "What's been poofed?" list, so you can see what you got done instead of everything you didn't.
It's grown since my classroom version — iCloud sync, widgets, Siri Shortcuts, Apple Watch — but the core hasn't changed. Built for brains that need momentum, not more friction. That said, it's for anyone who's ever had a to-do list make them feel worse instead of better.
