Poofed

Tap a task done and watch it poof away

Poofed is a to-do list built around one idea: finishing a task should feel good, not just get logged. Check something off and it poofs — a small, satisfying send-off — then settles into a "What's been poofed?" list so you can see what you actually got done. No accounts, no clutter, no ads. Just tasks, reminders, and recurring to-dos, synced across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch via iCloud. Widgets and Siri Shortcuts let you poof a task without opening the app.

Top comment

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm a teacher, and Poofed started with my students. I work with kids who have ADHD, executive function challenges, and other flavors of neurodivergence — and I kept seeing the same thing: a to-do list works for a few days, then turns into a wall of unfinished tasks. That doesn't feel like progress. It feels like proof you're behind. So I built Poofed around one idea: finishing something should actually feel finished. Check off a task and it poofs — then settles into a "What's been poofed?" list, so you can see what you got done instead of everything you didn't. It's grown since my classroom version — iCloud sync, widgets, Siri Shortcuts, Apple Watch — but the core hasn't changed. Built for brains that need momentum, not more friction. That said, it's for anyone who's ever had a to-do list make them feel worse instead of better. Would love to hear what you think — I read every comment. 🙏
