👋 Hey Product Hunt, I'm Yaroslav, PMM at HelpWire. The problem we set out to solve is narrow and happens thousands of times a day. Someone needs help with their machine. Before anyone can help, there's a phone call about downloading something, a session code read out loud twice, and an account nobody wanted to create. Support hasn't started yet, and ten minutes are gone. HelpWire starts a session from a link. You send it, the end user opens it, runs the client app, and clicks "Grant access." You're in. No account, password, or code on their side. The rest of it: ● Sessions don't time out or throw prompts at you mid-repair. ● Direct connections where the network allows them, so control stays responsive; relay fallback where it doesn't. ● Unattended access for the follow-up, because the first fix often isn't the last one. Built for IT support teams, solo IT providers, and internal IT at small and mid-sized businesses. And now, HelpWire leaves early access. What those three years gave us: Linux on both the technician and end-user side, unattended access on Windows, macOS, and Linux, a team layer (invite technicians, join a session together, groups, permissions), Quick Connect for one-off sessions without an account, two-factor login, reconnect after a reboot, and several sessions open at once. Plus the small things you only find by watching real support work, like pasting into password fields that block pasting. Try it: https://www.helpwire.app/ One note for the record: we've been on Product Hunt before, in 2023, as part of Electronic Team's company page. This is the first listing that's just HelpWire. And a question, because the best part of a launch day is the comments. What's the longest it has ever taken you to get a non-technical person into a remote session before any actual work started? I'll be here all day answering, and I'd like to hear the worst ones.

finally! well done, guys. updating HW on my mac now... thx for keeping the free plan around.

Congrats on the commercial launch! I saw you had initially revealed Helpwire in 2023. What changed between early access and today?

How do the plans differ? And how much do extra concurrent connections cost for a team?

Congratulations on the launch! It's a great product and easy to use. Wishing all the best to the HelpWire team. For those who haven't tried it yet, you definitely should!

Congrats to the team on this important milestone! Having followed HelpWire’s development, it’s great to see the product reach this stage. It offers a convenient solution for IT support professionals while making remote sessions easier to join for non-technical users. This combination can make a real difference for support teams handling multiple requests every day. Excited to see HelpWire reach more users!
