I built Filmlinks because of a habit I couldn't shake: finishing a film, looking up one actor, and suddenly it's 2am and I have fifteen tabs open.
Filmlinks turns that rabbit hole into a map. Search any film, show, or person — the director, main cast, and even the original author appear as connected nodes. Click anyone and the map branches into their other works. It never ends, in the best way.

The node-based layout is honestly such a satisfying way to dive into filmographies, feels like you're pulling a real thread instead of clicking through static lists.
Love how clicking through the network feels like detective work, would be great if you could save a node or branch as a personal collection so I can come back to where I left off without losing the thread

One thing that would help me out: let me save the network paths I click through, or even export them as a simple shareable image, so I can send a "watch this rabbit hole" link to friends instead of just naming three movies in a row.

honestly this sounds pretty cool for rabbit-hole browsing, but one thing would really help — let users save or bookmark the threads they pull so they can come back later. right now it seems like you lose everything when you close the tab, which kind of defeats the "keep pulling the thread" vibe
Honestly kind of addictive once you start pulling threads from a movie into its director's other work and then into the writers. Clean little graph view, no signup, just works.
A "random discovery" button would be amazing here. Sometimes I just want to wander into a new corner of cinema without picking a starting point — like shuffling the whole graph. Could surface hidden gems and keep me exploring for hours.
