Subaki

The easiest way to add subtitles to any video

Subaki is the easiest way in the world to add subtitles to your videos. Pick a video and the captions create themselves, timed to the voice. Restyle fonts, colors, outline and karaoke, then export burned-in for TikTok, Reels and Shorts. No account, no sign-up, no watermark, no ads. Free forever for creators in Greece, my home country of 11 million people. Elsewhere, Subaki Pro is an early-bird €11.99/year, rising later. Live now on iOS, Android coming very soon.

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I'm the maker of Subaki. I built it because adding subtitles to a video was always way more painful than it should be, juggling heavy editors, timelines and manual typing just to caption a short clip.

With Subaki you pick a video and the subtitles generate themselves, already synced to the voice. Then you can restyle them (fonts, colors, outline, karaoke effect), fix any word with a tap, and export with the captions burned in, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

It works with Greek, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian and Dutch. My goal was simple: make it the easiest subtitle app in the world.

Greece is my home country, 11 million people, and Subaki is completely free there, no catch, no trial period. It felt right to give something back to my own country first. Everywhere else, Subaki Pro is an early-bird price of €11.99/year that will go up later.

Available now on iOS, with Android coming in the next few days.

Would love your honest feedback 🙏
