Terraform can feel daunting, especially in smaller teams where guardrails are sparse or nonexistent. I am to change that with Stratum by surfacing everything you can expect from a planned change in a clear, readable UI, and gently guiding teams toward a stronger IaC culture through built-in recommendations and increased visibility.
The inspiration behind this came from a painful experience in a previous role, where a series of avoidable mistakes ultimately led to significant data loss and the dismissal of a talented engineer. The root cause wasn't incompetence, it was a lack of visibility and context at the moment it mattered most. Stratum exists to make sure no one is flying blind when they apply infrastructure changes.
