The short version: I wanted rank tracking that respects my inbox, so SerpCraft only sends email when a position actually changes — and it runs the first check the moment you add a keyword, so you see a number right away instead of an empty screen. Two things I'd flag honestly: 1. We're brand new — no case studies yet, no reviews. Free plan exists so you can judge it yourself (3 keywords, no card). 2. The interesting engineering was the monitoring, not the tracking. My daily check failed silently for a full day, and the alert that was supposed to report the failure shared the same expired credential, so it failed too. Nothing told me. I now run a second worker that watches the first, and it records its own verdict — what heartbeat it saw, what it concluded, and whether the alert actually got a 2xx. "Tried to alert" and "alerted" turned out to be different things. Happy to answer anything about how the checks or the alerting work.
