I built Magic Notebook because writing in most apps started to feel… exhausting.
Tools like Word are powerful, but often overwhelming — too many options, too much interface. At the same time, Markdown editors are simple, but not approachable for non-technical users.
I wanted something in between: a calm, simple writing space that doesn’t get in your way.
Also, I’m not a big fan of the idea that AI should do all the writing for us. I do plan to add AI — but only as a light assistant, not as a replacement for thinking and creativity.
Magic Notebook is my attempt to bring back a more natural, focused writing experience.
