The idea came from a simple frustration: I wanted to access and manage my smart home remotely without relying on multiple cloud services or complicated networking setups. Most solutions either lock you into a specific ecosystem, require opening ports or setting up VPNs, or aren’t designed to be simple for everyday users. I started building Avarly to make remote access to devices easy. The goal is to let you securely connect to your home from anywhere while keeping your existing Zigbee setup.
