The idea for Zylist came from noticing how difficult product discovery still is on Instagram.
Millions of small businesses now sell through:
* Instagram pages
* reels
* story promotions
* influencer collaborations
But finding products intentionally is surprisingly difficult unless:
* you remember the store name,
* saved the post,
* or get lucky with the algorithm again.
That felt like a strange gap because Instagram has already become a massive commerce platform.
So we started building Zylist - a search layer for Instagram commerce that helps users discover stores/products by category, price, and location.
Still very early, and we’re mainly focused on understanding whether this behavior problem truly resonates at scale.
