I'm Mario, the developer behind ZillaSoft. This isn't a VC-backed startup with a big team, it's the result of a lot of late nights building the tools I wanted to use myself.
Both apps started from my own daily frustrations:
π¦ Snipzilla came from typing the same things over and over. Existing text expanders either felt bloated or wanted my data. I wanted something fast and private that stayed out of my way.
π Stashzilla came from losing things I'd copied minutes earlier. I wanted a clipboard manager that made my copy history organized, searchable, and instantly accessible.
The biggest lesson along the way was restraint: every time I was tempted to add a feature, I asked whether it kept the app fast and private. That constraint shaped both.

Love the privacy-first angle, and a clipboard manager that stays local is something I wish more tools got right. One thing that would push me to actually subscribe though: syncing Stashzilla's clipboard history across my laptop and desktop over my own LAN, so I don't lose snippets when I switch machines but nothing leaves my network.
Love that you went privacy-first without sacrificing the snappy feel of the text expander. Snipzilla's approach to keeping everything local while still feeling that instant on trigger is a tough balance to pull off, and it shows in the polish.
Snipzilla has quickly become part of my daily flow, especially the snippet shortcuts for emails and code snippets. Love that it stays on my machine without any cloud sync nonsense.
