Zetfeed is a feed reader you build yourself. Add RSS, news sites, blogs, YouTube channels, Bluesky accounts, podcasts and newsletters that publish a feed, or import OPML from your old reader. Read them as a list, a magazine or one story at a time. Local news and weather, five daily games, and no ads or trackers. Native on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, plus Android and the web. Free for up to 20 sources, and every new account automatically gets 30 days of Member free.
Hi PH,
I'm Jesse, and I built Zetfeed, a new feed reader for a new generation.
I've read news and blogs through various feed readers for years and kept hitting the same walls. News apps decide what goes at the top, so the sources I picked on purpose get buried under whatever is getting clicks. And the readers that don't do that feel like managing a database. Zetfeed is my attempt at neither.
A few things I hope you'll like:
• Add anything with a feed: news sites, blogs, YouTube channels, Bluesky accounts, podcasts, and newsletters that publish a feed. Paste a link and Zetfeed works out the rest, or import an OPML file from your old reader.
• Go beyond feeds by tracking the things that interest you. Track your favorite tv shows, sports teams, stocks, concerts and more.
• Keyword and spoiler blocking, as well as sponsored content filtering.
• Local news and weather for a city or ZIP you type in. (Zetfeed never requests your actual location.)
• Three ways to read: List for speed, Magazine for browsing, Card for one story per screen.
• Five small daily games with streaks. A new game every day.
• Native apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Android, plus the web, all in sync.
• No ads, no trackers, no third-party analytics.
• So much more, and it is all optional.
Pricing: the core experience is completely free - up to 20 sources, all the reading modes, local news, weather and the games, with no ads or tracking. Member is $9.99 a month or $89.99 a year for unlimited sources, keyword filtering, spoiler protection, insert cards and save-to services. Every new account automatically gets 30 days of Member free, no card needed.
What it doesn't do yet: read newsletters from your email inbox (newsletters that publish a feed work fine) or follow Mastodon accounts. There is more to come and I look forward to expanding the offerings based on user feedback.
What I'd love from you today: tell me where setup confused you and which sources you couldn't add. I'm here all day and I'll read everything.

Who hunted Zetfeed?
Zetfeed was hunted by Jesse. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
