Most focus apps polish the timer and treat breaks as dead time, so we skip them. ZenFlow makes the break the reward. Each one opens a living world: a koi pond that keeps living while you work (feed, pair and hatch koi), color mosaics to restore, a paper plane to glide through four lands. No scores, no streaks to lose. Around it: a Pomodoro timer with 20-20-20 eye breaks, one-click focus workflows, website and app blocking, and weekly AI insights written on-device. No account, no tracking.

Hey everyone, I'm Viktor, the maker of ZenFlow. I built it because I kept skipping breaks. Not for lack of discipline: breaks were just boring, so I'd "finish one more thing" and end the day with tired eyes. Most focus apps polish the timer and treat the break as dead time. I wanted to flip that and make the break the part of the day you look forward to. ZenFlow 1.0 had little mini-games for breaks. They were fine for a minute and forgettable after. So 2.0 replaces them with three worlds that remember you: - Koi Pond keeps living while you work. Feed the koi, pair two in the nursery, welcome hatchlings with inherited colors, grow the garden. - Prism Garden: restore color mosaics one swap at a time. - Paper Skies: glide a paper plane through four lands. One rule shaped everything: a break must never stress you out. No scores, no fail states, no streaks to lose. Nothing dies, and everything you earn only grows. I cut whatever didn't fit, including a version where feeding koi played Satie's Gymnopédie note by note. Every note was right and it still felt like nothing, because tapping without rhythm isn't playing. Around the worlds there's a proper Pomodoro timer with 20-20-20 eye breaks, one-click focus workflows, Shortcuts, website and app blocking, and weekly AI insights written on your Mac by Apple Intelligence. No account, no tracking. The timer, breaks and all three worlds are free. Requires macOS 26. I'd love to know: what makes you skip breaks? And which world should get the next chapter?
