I built Workrate because I was tired of 'tool sprawl.' Like many of you, I found myself jumping between five different apps just to manage one team: one for chat, one for video calls, another for tasks, and still having no real clue how productive we actually were.
The biggest problem I saw was the disconnect between presence and performance. Just because someone is 'online' doesn't mean they're making progress, and just because a task is 'completed' doesn't mean the efficiency was there.
Workrate bridges that gap. We’ve built an all-in-one workspace where communication (video/chat) lives right alongside a data-driven performance engine. It tracks active work minutes against schedules and calculates productivity scores with decimal precision, giving managers total clarity and employees fair, transparent metrics.
