Hey Product Hunt 👋
Wax & Spindle started because using Discogs on mobile slowly became frustrating.
Collections failed to load properly, sessions expired constantly, and browsing large libraries stopped feeling enjoyable.
So I built a modern Discogs client focused on a few things that mattered to me as a collector:
• fast local browsing
• offline-first access
• artwork-led design
• instant search
• marketplace pricing
• reliable syncing
• no subscriptions or tracking
One thing that became important during development was making the app work well for all kinds of collectors, not just vinyl. CDs, cassettes, LPs, box sets, obscure pressings, and everything else people catalogue on Discogs should feel equally at home.
The app is built independently and stores collections locally on-device for speed and offline access.
