I'm Yahya, the solo developer behind Vocablo.
The idea came from a personal frustration; I kept forgetting words I'd learned, and every vocab app I tried felt either too basic or too gamified to the point of being annoying.
So I built Vocablo around three principles:
1/ It detects your real level on day one with a short vocabulary quiz; no self-reporting, no guessing.
2/ It protects your streak with shields earned every 7 days, so one missed day doesn't send you back to zero. Consistency beats perfection.
3/ It works in both Spanish and English; same app, same word quality, switch anytime.
I've been building this solo for the past few months and just launched on Android. Would love any feedback, especially on the onboarding flow and the word selection.
