Here's what got me started: India has 200M+ demat accounts but around 1300 SEBI-registered investment advisers. The gap is enormous. Most retail investors are flying blind - bouncing between Zerodha, Groww, mutual fund apps, screeners, and Telegram tip channels just to make sense of their own portfolio.
I've been running a Hindi investing YouTube channel ("Investing Common Sense") for a while, and the same questions kept showing up in my comments: "Should I sell this?" "Is my portfolio diversified?" "How do I actually plan for FIRE?" Generic advice doesn't help. Personalised advice doesn't exist at retail scale in India.
