TX Server Finder
Free directory of Texas's 4,792 certified process servers
Free directory of Texas's 4,792 JBCC-certified process servers in all 254 counties, re-checked weekly, plus constable fee tables, cost estimator and deadline calculators. Independent directory; not a law firm.
Hi Product Hunt! I'm Thomas, the maker of TX Server Finder.
In Texas, legal papers can be served by a sheriff or constable or by a process server certified by the Judicial Branch Certification Commission (JBCC). The state publishes the list of certified servers, but it isn't easy to search by county or to compare costs. So I built a free directory of all 4,792 currently certified servers, organized by county and re-checked against the JBCC list every week.
Alongside the directory there are a few free tools: a constable and sheriff fee table built from official county fee schedules, a cost estimator, and calculators for the Texas answer deadline and citation-by-publication dates. Every guide quotes the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and links to the source.
It's an independent directory, not a law firm, and it doesn't give legal advice. Certified servers can claim their free listing; there's also an optional paid featured placement, always labeled as paid.
I'd love feedback, especially from paralegals, attorneys and anyone who has had to get papers served in Texas.
