Hi everyone, I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on for the past few months. I’m a passionate darts player, but also a huge fan of RPGs and Roguelikes. The Concept: You throw real darts at your real board. The app acts as a tracker, but your scores trigger abilities and fight bosses. My goal wasn't to build a "mobile game" to distract you, but to reward mechanical improvement on the actual board through gamification. No boring spreadsheets—just motivating feedback.
I’ve reached a point where I need feedback from "real" darts players. I’m committed to keeping the app ad-free and subscription-free. You can test the first 5 levels to see if the RPG approach motivates you. But the real challenge starts after that!
To be honest: I’m currently at a crossroads and wondering if I’ve "lost myself" in the game mechanics or if this approach actually clicks with others.
