TripTrack
Every road you drive clears the fog on your own map
TripTrack records every drive on iPhone — start with one swipe or let it start when your phone connects to the car — and turns your history into an Atlas. The world starts under fog; every road you drive clears it, so you can see exactly where you have been and how much is still waiting. Places you pass again get their own history, multi-day trips fold into one journey, and nothing needs an account. Free to record and explore; PRO adds styles and manual trips.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Nikita, and I build TripTrack alone.
It started with a simple annoyance: after a long road trip I had photos, but no idea which roads I had actually driven. Map apps forget your route the moment you arrive.
So TripTrack does three things:
🚗 Records every drive — swipe to start, or let it start when your phone connects to the car stereo. Battery-friendly, works in the background.
🌫️ Builds your Atlas — the world is covered in fog, and every road you drive clears it. "2,884 km of new roads" is my favourite number on the screen.
📍 Remembers places — pass the same spot again and it tells you how many times you've been there and how long the drive usually takes.
Privacy was a rule from day one: no account needed, and a home privacy zone trims the start and end of anything you share.
Native iPhone app (SwiftUI, MapKit, a Metal fog layer), 13 languages, miles or kilometres per car.
This autumn there's an in-app challenge: drive 100 km of roads you've never driven before. I'd love to hear what you'd want it to show next — and honest feedback on the Atlas especially. 🙏

Who hunted TripTrack?
TripTrack was hunted by Nikita Shevelev. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
