Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built Travelog because I wanted a better way to track my travels.
Most travel apps focus on booking flights or hotels, but after the trip, your memories end up scattered everywhere. One app tracks countries, another tracks flights, another saves places — none of them connect everything together.
So I built Travelog:

The idea was to make travel feel visual, collectible, and fun — like building your own exploration profile over time.

The app starts really nicely - beautiful UI and a very smooth first impression.
One thing that hurt the onboarding experience for me: while I was selecting the countries I’ve visited during setup, a loud full-screen ad appeared in the middle of the flow. I completely understand the need for ads, and $9.99/year to remove them feels reasonable, but I’d strongly recommend not showing interruptive ads during account setup/onboarding.
That first few minutes is when users are still deciding whether they like the app. Let them finish setting up their profile first, then introduce ads or the upgrade option afterward.
That said, I really like the idea and the overall execution. I’ll continue using it, and I upvoted it here.
