I'm Manuel - together with my co-founder we're LaunchX, a two-person team building small, focused apps. TrackyMeals is our take on calorie tracking.
We built it because every tracker we tried felt like accounting software. Searching databases, weighing everything, filling out forms — we always quit after two weeks. Not because we lost motivation, but because logging was simply too much friction.
So we made tracking feel like texting a friend: you just write "2 scrambled eggs and a slice of toast", snap a photo of your plate, or scan a barcode — and you're done in seconds. When the AI isn't sure about portion sizes, it asks a quick follow-up instead of silently guessing wrong. That one detail made the biggest difference in accuracy.
