Traceflat
Turn a photo of a floor plan into an editable 2D/3D plan
Upload a photo, scan or screenshot of a floor plan: the AI reads the dimensions written on it and draws the rooms, walls, doors and windows in a few minutes. Then edit the plan by hand in a real drafting editor or just type what to change ("make the kitchen 4 x 3"), furnish it and see it in 3D. Export PNG for free, PDF or DXF (AutoCAD) with a pack. The editor is free; the AI runs on one-time packs from €5, no subscription.
Hi Product Hunt! I built Traceflat because every floor plan I got was a picture: from a listing, a landlord, a developer's brochure. Redrawing it to check a renovation idea or whether furniture fits took hours.
Now you drop the picture and get a real drawing: rooms read from the written dimensions, walls of the right thickness, doors and windows in place. Then:
- change it by hand in a proper drafting editor, or just type "make the kitchen 4 x 3"
- furnish it from a catalog with real sizes
- walk through it in 3D
- export PNG for free, PDF or DXF (AutoCAD) with a pack
Try the recorded sample run first, no account needed: traceflat.com/app?demo
No subscription: the editor is free, the AI is a one-time pack from €5.
I'm here all day: tell me what plan broke it.

Who hunted Traceflat?
Traceflat was hunted by Aleksei Malchenko. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
