I released Trace TCG this week, my Pokemon card scanning, collecting and pricing app, I'd really appreciate some feedback from collectors in the community. It started as a small side project for card scanning and indexing I built to help my son and I track our collection...then I just kept going!
I've been an iOS developer for 18 years, this is the first side project I've ever felt strongly enough about to finish. A little about the app:
* Free to browse sets and scan cards in what I think is a pretty great UX
* A free account allows you to create a collection, scan up to 100 cards, view pricing and trends
* A paid account lets you scan unlimited cards, create unlimited collections, view variant pricing, import/export cards and more
I'm working on a lot more, next release will include Japanese cards.
Here's a link to download on the App Store, it's optimised for iPad as well, and Mac OS in the next couple of weeks https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/tr...
I believe strongly in working in public, especially if you're asking for people's money.
* I have a public roadmap where users can vote on features https://tracetcg.featurebase.app...
* A place for users to post feedback here https://tracetcg.featurebase.app...
Thank you! 🙏

Who hunted Trace TCG?
Trace TCG was hunted by Alex Brown. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
