toto routes every task to the best model. toto intelligently routes your tasks to the best model for what you need from the vendors you already pay for (OAI, Anth, Goog). speed, cost, skill - you choose what you route for. today, you choose the model you use when you do your work. almost everyone chooses the expensive, 'best': opus 4.7, gpt 5.5. that mistake is costing your business a LOT of money in metered, wasted token spend. models are spiky creatures that change fast - toto keeps up.

Hi I'm Alex - 10y in AI, FDE at 11

You don't always need a Ferrari to get groceries. Sometimes you need a truck, sometimes a Prius is fine. Models are a lot like that but they are invisible. You cannot see a model, its spiky edges and its strange weaknesses because all you see is a name: Opus 47. GPT-4o mini, Sonnet 4.5, etc.

Toto understands the context of what you're doing, its complexity, and routes that work to the agent with the complementary capability - optimized for what you want - speed, price, balance, capability, etc.

I saw this problem play out over and over with real customers as some of the best engineers in the world (at ElevenLabs) were essentially guessing as to which model to recommend to customers because the model-space moves at breakneck speeds.

Frontier labs update models so fast that its nearly impossible for one individual to know about all the varied jaggedness across all the various models available today. toto makes that capability and decision clear and visible to you.

How fine-grained is routing in Toto today: is it per user request, per message, or per subtask/tool-call inside an agent workflow—and what did you learn about where the biggest savings (and biggest failure modes) actually come from?

Logo is being designed by San Francisco Artist: Rin Olson whose work is featured in the HANG gallery. Rin Olson

Rin’s work is dynamic, cohesive and deeply specific and meaningful.  She seamlessly blends abstract concepts with representational life.  I was inspired by her Birdsong series.  Each painting begins as a waveform, recorded from a bird in nature.  Rin examines that waveform, identifies important forms and then transcribes these forms onto canvas where they come alive through Rin’s stellar color selection.  Her birdsong works demonstrate a clear attention to precision, detail and the works draw a substantive connection between the scientific and the poetic – inviting viewers to experience nature through an entirely new lens.

I used 3js to render the 3d worldmodel on the landing page. As a semi-professional artist I LOVE 3js and the absolute freedom to create it provides. https://threejs.org/. 3js renders a 3d canvas using webgl allowing you to create some unbelievably cool and interactive environments within the browser. if you've ever seen a really amazing looking portfolio site - it likely used 3js somewhere.

Who hunted Toto?

Toto was hunted by Alex Funk. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
