The Odds Gap
Free line shopping and betting tools across 19 books
Compare live odds across 19 sportsbooks and 4 exchanges (Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX, Novig), pregame and live in-play, best price flagged on every line. Line shop game lines and props, grade PrizePicks, Underdog, Betr and Pick6 on the DFS board, plus an 8-mode hedge finder, middle finder, bet tracker with CLV, 11 calculators, and a Discord bot. One-tap betslip deep links, light or dark. Nothing paywalled; a free email unlocks the 60-second live board. Math, not picks. Built solo in Michigan.
Hey everyone, I'm Dan, and I built The Odds Gap solo out of Michigan.
The origin story is simple: I noticed I kept paying -110 at my sportsbook for bets an exchange was pricing at -102. That gap is a tax on not looking. It costs a $100-a-week bettor almost $200 a year, and nobody checks because checking 19 books by hand is miserable.
So I built the thing that checks. The Line Shop pulls live prices from 19 books, including the prediction markets and exchanges (Kalshi, Polymarket, ProphetX), and flags the best number on every line. The live board rescans every book every minute during the beta; props refresh every 30 minutes and futures hourly, 7am to 9pm ET.
From there it grew: a Hedge Finder with 6 modes (hedge an open bet, convert a free bet to cash, profit boosts, no-sweat bets, wager requirements, arb scan), a Middle Finder, a Bet Tracker that logs your opening and closing line automatically so you can see your CLV, 10 calculators, a Learn hub, and a daily email with the biggest gaps. It installs as an app too.
The newest piece is a DFS Edges board that grades PrizePicks, Underdog, Betr, and Pick6 pick'em lines against the real betting market, so you can see the fair win percentage those apps never show you.
What it is not: a picks service. I don't tell you what to bet. I tell you where the same bet pays more. Math, not picks.
Everything is free with no signup. Some book sign-up links pay me a commission; the odds data is identical for every book either way.
I'm one guy, so feedback here genuinely shapes the roadmap. What should I build next?
honestly the 19 books plus the prediction markets in one view is pretty handy, and the best price flag actually saves me from bouncing between tabs. surprised how snappy the live board is
