The Line is a scope-creep toolkit for freelancers: calculate what an out-of-scope ask really costs at your rate, get a script for the moment (four scenarios × four tones, dollar value auto-filled), and track billed vs. unpaid work over time. No account, no subscription — one link, opens in your browser, $14.99 one-time.

Hey everyone 👋 Third small toolkit in this series — this one's for the "can you just add one small thing" moment every freelancer knows. I actually use it myself, which is how I caught that the calculator and tracker weren't connected to each other before launch — small UX gap, fixed now. Would love feedback on the script wording especially; trying to keep it sounding like an actual person, not a legal template.

Who hunted The Line?

The Line was hunted by Sharmin Akter. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
