The Fridge helps you cook with what you already have. Add ingredients from your fridge, get recipe ideas instantly, reduce food waste, and stop wondering what to make for dinner. App helps you create and share shopping lists, and makes it easy to save and share your own recipes with friends. Simple, fast, and actually useful on busy days.
I’d like to introduce The Fridge, an app I’ve been building by myself over the last few months, with help from my friends and family.
What is this app about? The next time you’re staring into your fridge wondering, “What should I cook?”, let the app think for you.
Instead of trying to piece together random ingredients, just snap a photo of your fridge or tell the app what you have using your voice. It will suggest a few quick recipes, making it much easier to decide what’s for dinner.
This is the second MVP release. The first version was tested with a small group of users in Poland, and this update includes a lot of their feedback. Now I’d love to hear from the Product Hunt community: what works, what’s confusing, and what you’d expect from an app like this.
It’s completely free, runs in your browser, and doesn’t require registration or installation. Please be direct about what feels confusing or missing—I’m here to learn and make it better.

The Fridge was hunted by Michal The Fridge. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
