Hey Product Hunt 👋 I am excited to launch Tapnudge today. Tapnudge is the world’s fastest human sentiment engine, powered by patent pending technology. It is a quick and fun way to get real human opinions and feedback in just a few taps. We built Tapnudge because getting opinions today often feels slower and more awkward than it should. You either post on social media, ask in group chats, create surveys, or rely only on people you already know. These methods can feel shallow, slow, and tedious for both the person asking and the person responding. Before launch, we ran a waitlist with over 1,000 people interested in Tapnudge. Some early users have already created quick nudges that helped them get useful opinions, and many of our waitlist users are now active on the platform. Tapnudge is now live on iOS v1.1 and can also be accessed directly through our web app. You can try it instantly in guest mode, share opinions on up to 5 nudges, and view 3 profiles before signing up. To create your own nudges and keep the credits you earned, you can create an account. As a launch gift, we are giving new users a free Tapnudge credit so you can create your first nudge and experience the platform. I would love your feedback on three things: 1. Which of the 6 nudge types feels most useful to you? 2. How effortless does the nudge creation flow feel? 3. What topics or use cases would you personally use Tapnudge for? Thank you for checking it out. Every opinion genuinely helps us shape what Tapnudge becomes next.

@j_mehta1 Congrats on the launch, the "few taps" framing is a nice contrast to a full survey! is there an Android version in the works, or is this iOS and web only for now? A lot of the "ask a quick opinion" use case seems to come from group chats that are a mix of iPhone and Android users.

Congrats on the launch. The idea of getting a real opinion in a few taps instead of posting and waiting for a group chat to respond is a good one, that gap is very real. Curious how you're preventing it from turning into another "please vote on my thing" spam loop once people start sharing nudges outside their close circle. What's stopping that from happening?

We work with feedback signals on the support side, so this is my honest take.

The farming angle is already in the thread, so a different one: even honest, thoughtful answers can mislead if they come from the wrong crowd. Ten taps from random people and ten taps from your actual target users show up as the same number on screen, but they mean opposite things for a decision.

For a caption or an outfit it does not matter, anyone's taste is valid. For a product or a positioning call, the aggregate can be confidently wrong and it still looks like data, so you trust it.

So the thing I would want as the person asking: can I see how representative my responders are, or aim a nudge at a segment instead of the general pool? Good luck with the launch, the flow is genuinely fast.

Love this! Can this also have a plugin on LI for professional opinions? Hard to switch tools

Congrats! I have a soft spot for this problem. Likes are useless as a decision signal, a post can get a hundred of them and still nobody buys the thing. Structured opinions before you commit is the right shape.

One thing I'd want to know before trusting it though. Credit systems attract people who tap through nudges just to farm credits, and then you're making decisions off junk opinions. How are you filtering for people who actually thought about it? That's the make-or-break for this category, and if you've solved it you should talk about it loudly.

Congrats on the launch! The "guest mode" flow (5 nudges, 3 profiles before signing up) is a smart call — most feedback tools make you commit before you've even seen if it's useful, and that friction kills a lot of potential users before they ever try it. To your third question: I could see this being genuinely useful for quick product-copy decisions — "which tagline lands better" type questions — where a survey feels like overkill but you still want more than just your own gut check. Curious if you've seen founders/builders show up as a use case in your waitlist data, or if it's skewing toward more personal/social nudges so far?

Tapnudge was hunted by J Mehta. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
