A text-first community platform born from sports fandom. Play Manager & Predict games for many leagues, create private leagues, and build tactics boards. Make podcasts, tier lists, collections, and quizzes. Study with Chalkboards & Flashcards. Rich text formatting supports code and formulas. Private groups and chat keep your crew connected. Community-driven moderation means no corporate overlords. No algorithms, no attention traps, no crippled free tier. Just real conversations and real fun.
love that you guys built rich text formatting with code and formula support into a sports community platform. most fandom sites treat you like a casual, but talkscrolls actually expects nerds to show up.
The text-first focus is genuinely refreshing. One thing I'd love to see is native dark mode for reading long threads at night, especially during those late match discussions.
Would love to see a built-in bracket challenge mode for March Madness style tournaments, where you can fill out predictions against other users in your league and track accuracy over time. It would fit perfectly with the Predict games you already have and give sports fans another reason to keep coming back.
Love that there is no algorithm pushing random stuff at me. The chalkboard feature for breaking down plays is genuinely useful, way better than scribbling on a photo in another app.

• Free tiers are crippled
• Everything fights for your attention

• Text-first, conversation-first

It began as a small sports app one person built for himself and his friends — and grew into this. Talk that Scrolls: conversation worth keeping.
Love how the rich text editor actually handles code blocks and formulas properly without forcing everything through a stripped-down composer. That alone makes it worth bookmarking for sports stat deep dives.
