Hi Product Hunt, I built TalkPulse Native because I wanted voice-to-text to feel like a simple desktop shortcut instead of a separate product I had to manage. The idea is intentionally focused: press `F9`, speak, and get the text pasted into the app you are already using. I also wanted the free version to be genuinely private. TalkPulse Native uses a bundled local Whisper model, so audio and transcribed text stay on your machine. There is no login, subscription, API key, telemetry, analytics, or cloud audio upload. It is best for quick everyday dictation: messages, notes, prompts, emails, documentation, and capturing ideas before they disappear. This first launch is Windows-only and focused on the free offline Native app. I would really appreciate feedback on transcription quality, installation, microphone compatibility, and whether the `F9` workflow fits how you work. Thanks for checking it out.

Who hunted TalkPulse?

TalkPulse was hunted by Anand Bhandari. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
