SynapseSec is a real-time security firewall for brain-computer interface (BCI) and neural signals. As neural devices grow, brain data becomes the most private data we have. SynapseSec protects it end to end: post-quantum encryption (ML-KEM-768 + AES-256), ML anomaly detection that blocks attacks in real time, and HMAC device authentication. A working, tested prototype with a live dashboard and lightweight design. Running on test signals, real hardware next. Built by a self-taught student. 💚

Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Hassaan, a self-taught student, and SynapseSec is something I built because I kept asking one question: as brain-computer interfaces and neural devices grow, who's actually protecting the signals coming from our brains? Neural data is the most private data we'll ever generate — it can reveal what we think, feel, and intend — yet it often travels with almost no security. So I set out to build a firewall for it. SynapseSec combines real post-quantum cryptography (ML-KEM-768 + AES-256), ML-based anomaly detection that blocks attacks in real time, and device authentication — all in a live monitoring dashboard. Everything you see is genuinely built and tested end to end. I'll be honest about where it is: it's an early prototype running on test signals, with real BCI hardware as my next step. But the foundation is real, and I built it from scratch with no formal engineering background — teaching myself each piece until it worked. I'd genuinely love your honest feedback, ideas, or tough questions. Thank you for checking it out!
