Hey Product Hunt! SubZero started as a free tool to remove captions from videos — no upload, no signup, everything processed locally in your browser. Tried the subtitle remover on a short clip and it actually worked without me uploading anything, which was kind of the whole point. The PDF merge was also smooth, no fuss at all.
the fact that all processing runs locally in the browser with ffmpeg.wasm feels genuinely well-thought-out, especially for privacy. love seeing full RTL support alongside English too.
The local processing angle is genuinely useful for anyone dealing with sensitive docs, and the bilingual RTL support is a thoughtful touch. One thing I'd love to see is batch processing for the PDF toolkit - dropping in 20 files and merging or compressing them all at once would save a lot of time compared to handling them one by one.
Stripped the hardcoded subs off a downloaded lecture video in seconds without re-uploading anything, huge plus. Also merged and rotated a stack of scanned PDFs in one go, super smooth for a free tool.
Love that everything stays local, makes it feel safe to throw sensitive PDFs at it. One thing I'd love is a batch queue for the video tool so I can drop in a folder of clips and have the captions stripped from all of them while I walk away.

Have been burned before by tools claiming "all local" so I really appreciate seeing the ffmpeg.wasm setup openly explained, that builds trust. One thing I'd love as an addition is a batch queue for the video side, so you could drop in ten clips with subtitles and remove them all at once instead of running them one at a time. Would make it way more useful for anyone working through a backlog of downloads.
A batch queue would be super useful — being able to drop in multiple videos at once and let it process them in the background while I do something else. Right now it feels like one file at a time keeps you tethered to the tab.
