I originally built SubBuddy because I was tired of losing track of trials, yearly renewals, software tools, and small recurring payments that quietly added up.
The first version was simple: add subscriptions, see upcoming payments, and get reminders. Since then, I’ve rebuilt a lot of the product based on real usage and feedback.
What’s new in v1.4:
- Chrome extension with Gmail import
- CSV import with an editable review step
- Per-subscription currency tracking
- Multi-currency analytics and converted totals
- Renewal controls, custom reminders, and snoozing
- Pause, resume, and mark canceled workflows
- Cancellation links and notes
- Tags, custom categories, budgets, and family sharing
- Refreshed branding across the app and extension
The goal is to make SubBuddy more than a list of subscriptions. I want it to be the place where you capture recurring payments, understand what they cost, and act before the next charge hits.
