Most language apps teach you "the cat is on the table" in seventeen different ways. They drag you to A2 and quit on you. I could order coffee in five languages but couldn't read a paragraph of anything written for an adult.
What finally moved me was forcing my way through L'Étranger with a dictionary — painful, slow, the only thing that ever worked.
Storica is that experience, designed instead of suffered. The bet: adults learn languages best by reading what adults actually read. So instead of context-less phrases, Storica drops you into real subject matter:
