Hey everyone — Justin here, the solo founder behind Stivvy.
Built this over the last year while studying marketing at Indiana because I genuinely could not find a good way to learn investing. TikTok gave me noise. School gave me theory. Robinhood threw me into trading before I understood what I was looking at.
So I built the thing I wish existed.
The core idea is that you actually understand finance before you touch real money. Daily games like Stockle - which is basically Wordle but you’re guessing companies from financial clues - make the learning feel like something you want to do every day rather than homework. There’s also a full adaptive curriculum with 8 modules and 42 lessons that adjusts to what you already know.
I’m still actively building it. Nothing is perfect. If you try it and something feels broken, confusing, or just missing. I genuinely want to hear it. That feedback is the only reason I posted here.

Happy to answer any questions about how I built it, what’s coming next, or anything else.

Stivvy Beta was hunted by Justin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
