Hey Product Hunt 👋 I built Speclify because I kept watching the same thing happen on every project I was on: someone runs a good discovery meeting, everyone leaves nodding, and two weeks later engineering is building something nobody agreed to. The "requirements doc" is a Notion page with three bullet points and a Loom link. Speclify is the tool I wanted for that gap. You drop in a meeting recording, a transcript, a PDF, a Google Doc whatever you actually have and it produces a real Software Requirements Specification. Functional requirements, quality requirements, acceptance criteria, the boring stuff that saves you months later. The part I'm proud of: it isn't a single large language model writing a spec in one shot. Under the hood there's a small network of specialized software modules (a stakeholder interviewer, a modeler, a checker, a documenter) that validate inputs, catch design smells, and rewrite until the requirements meet an actual industry standard (ISO 29148). It's slower than "summaries this into bullets" that's the point but makes real difference. A few things worth knowing before you sign up: * Bring your own key. OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or OpenRouter. Your key, your data, your bill. We never hold a default model key for you. * It's honest about what it doesn't know. Missing info shows up as TBD in the spec instead of false confidence. * You can push straight to your tracker. Jira, Linear, Trello, ClickUp, Asana, monday, GitHub, Azure DevOps encrypted credentials, per account. * Live meeting mode transcribes as you talk and asks clarifying questions in real time, so you leave the meeting with the ambiguities already resolved. It won't replace a good BA or PM. It will save you the "wait, what did we actually decide?" tax that eats every project. Would love your feedback especially the harsh kind. If you try it on your own meeting and the spec is wrong, tell me exactly how it's wrong. That's how this gets better. — Ali

Comment highlights

Tried it on a sprint planning recording and the user stories came out pretty clean, the diagram export was a nice bonus too. Wish the Jira push had more mapping options but overall saved me a solid hour of typing things up.

Plugged it into a chaotic sprint planning call and the SRS it spat out was surprisingly tight, even catching a few edge cases my team glossed over. Solid baseline before the analysts tear it apart.
