Building a reliable safety app comes with unique technical challenges, particularly around ensuring the app stays alive in the background without draining the battery and accurately integrating with hardware sensors to detect emergencies. After extensive testing—which even included removing a problematic date and time trigger to ensure absolute stability and prevent system crashes—I'm excited to share this version with you all.
I strongly believe personal safety shouldn't be locked behind a paywall. Because of that, I recently stripped out all billing libraries entirely. SOS emergency RedShield is now a 100% free tool.
