Your buyers now ask ChatGPT and Perplexity for the shortlist - and AI agents are starting to do the research. SnagTrace sends an agent to attempt real buyer tasks on your site (find pricing, start a trial, get your SOC 2) and shows the transcript of exactly where it dead-ends. It also grades A–F whether AI engines can find and read you, with every signal weight published. We seeded it against 39 known B2B SaaS sites: avg 80/100, and the lowest score belongs to a household name.

Hey Product Hunt

A few months ago I watched an AI agent research B2B software the way buyers now do: "what's the best tool for X, and can it do Y?" It pulled up three vendors and tried to check their pricing and SOC 2 status. On two of the three, it just… stopped. One site rendered entirely in JavaScript, so the agent saw a blank page. The other buried pricing behind a "contact sales" wall the agent couldn't get past.

Those companies didn't lose on features. They lost because the AI doing the research couldn't read them or finish the task, and the buyer never saw them.

That's what SnagTrace checks. It sends an AI agent to attempt the real buyer tasks on your site find pricing, start a trial, get your SOC 2, compare you to a competitor, and shows you the transcript of exactly where it dead-ends. It also grades whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini can find, read, and recommend you.

I seeded the free grader against 39 well-known B2B SaaS marketing sites so the public leaderboard (snagtrace.com/leaderboard) means something on day one, this isn't a demo dataset, it's real: average score 80/100, 12 sites grade A, 23 grade B, 4 grade C, zero D or F. Salesforce tops it at A (91). Canva sits at the bottom, C (55), its page has a noindex tag and only about 342 characters of extractable text, so most AI crawlers get almost nothing to work with. Even the #1 site isn't flawless, Salesforce's own page trips the same noindex check, just less severely. Nobody's perfect; that's kind of the point of publishing real numbers instead of a pitch.

What it's NOT : a tool that promises you'll rank #1 in ChatGPT. Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling you something. SnagTrace is a diagnosis, it shows you the walls, you take them down. Free grades one site, no signup. Pro ($99/mo) runs the full agent replay against your competitors and re-checks weekly.

Brutal feedback welcome, especially: run your own site and tell me where the agent dead-ended. I read every one.
