built SlotReset around a problem that comes up constantly in client work: when a client is late with feedback, files or approval, the deadline usually can’t just move by the same number of days.
By the time the missing input arrives, other work may already be booked into the calendar. That means a 4-day client delay can easily create a much bigger delivery impact.
I wanted a simple way to answer one question before replying to the client: when can I realistically deliver this now without pushing other commitments out of the way?
SlotReset started as a delivery-date recalculator, but evolved into something more capacity-aware. It looks at the work still remaining, working days, protected bookings and optional extra capacity to calculate a realistic revised date.
The main calculation is free and doesn’t require an account. There’s also an optional Delay Report for people who need the capacity breakdown and client-ready explanation.
I’d especially love feedback from freelancers, consultants and small agencies who deal with client-dependent timelines.
