Hi Product Hunt! I built Simple Task for my own personal task tracking. I wanted one lightweight place for tasks that belong to different contexts: a project, a system, a component, or a process.
I started with the basics, then added checklists, an Important marker, filters, and backup export and restore. I chose to keep data in the browser, with no account or cloud sync, so it’s important to export a backup if you want to preserve or move your tasks.
Simple Task is currently in beta and supports English and Italian. I’d love feedback on what feels clear, what’s missing, and any bugs you find. Thanks for taking a look!
