I'm Minh — solo founder, and Sessurely is the thing I couldn't stop thinking about.
Every service pro I know — trainers, coaches, photographers — quietly eats the cost of no-shows. A client flakes, that hour is gone, and there's nothing you can do. Most booking tools just send a reminder and hope. I wanted one that actually enforces the booking.
So Sessurely keeps a card on file and automatically charges the no-show or late-cancel fee through Stripe. The client feels the cost of flaking; you stop absorbing it. Booking pages, reminders, deposits, and the charging all live in one place.
I built the first version in about 13 days, by myself, and I've been careful with the money path — fees lock in at booking, and a lapsed account can never charge anyone (found and killed both bugs before launch).
It's early and I'd genuinely love your feedback — especially from anyone who's lost money to a no-show. What would make you actually switch from whatever you use now?
Finally something that handles deposits without making me jump through hoops. The card on file setup was quick and I like that it auto charges no-show fees, honestly that's the part most tools completely ignore.
honestly this looks solid for solo providers, one thing though - can you add a way to send automated text reminders like 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment? that would probably cut down no-shows way more than just charging fees after the fact
Tried it for a few bookings last week and the deposit feature alone is worth it. Loved how the no-show fee kicks in automatically without any awkward back-and-forth.
Finally something that handles the deposit and no-show fee piece without me having to babysit it, set up a session in like two minutes.
