Series Z is an idle game about building an AI startup that never needs a product. You start Bootstrapped with one Vibe Coder and three users: you, your mom and a bot. Ship features, find users, raise money. Pre-seed, Seed, Series A, all the way down the alphabet to Series Z. Then go public, ring the bell and watch the bubble take it all back. HOW IT PLAYS • Two tracks: Build adds capacity, Distribution brings users. Whichever one falls behind is your bottleneck.
Hey Product Hunt!
I had the idea for Series Z on Monday. By Thursday it was on the App Store.
Monday I wrote the PRD, a build guide split into 11 phases, and prompts for 70 pieces of art. Tuesday Claude Code built it one phase at a time: a Python sim to balance the economy, then the engine, gameplay, widgets, purchases and achievements. 23 commits, 65 tests, 5 builds. I sent it to review Tuesday night and Apple approved it Wednesday, on the first try.
The game is a satire of the AI startup scene. You start with a Vibe Coder ("Ships 40 features a day. Reads none of the code."), balance Build and Distribution, and hire AI agents that make things up. "Your Research Agent cited a paper it wrote" is my favorite of the 80.
Free, no ads, no subscription. An optional $4.99 Founder's Edition doubles production.
The joke of the game is that building is easy and getting users is the hard part. Building took me a day, so here I am. Which agent line got you, and which one fell flat?
