Hey Product Hunt! I'm Ethan, and I built Seedance 2.0.
Honest reason I made this: I kept trying AI video tools and walking away disappointed. Either the audio felt pasted on, or the characters changed faces between shots, or the "free" plan was basically a demo that expired after one clip.
So I spent the last several months working on three things I couldn't find anywhere else:
**Native audio sync** — the audio and video are generated together, which is why the lip movements actually look right. Not perfect, but genuinely better than anything I'd seen.
**Character consistency** — you can reference the same person across 10 shots. Once I had this working, I realized this was the difference between "cool demo" and "actually useful for storytelling."
**Real free tier** — 30 credits, 480p, no watermark, no credit card. I'd rather you try it and tell me it's bad than never try it at all.
The hardest part was the multi-language lip-sync. Getting it to work in Japanese and Portuguese without the mouth looking wrong took way longer than I expected.
If you try it, I'd genuinely love to know what breaks. That's the most useful feedback I can get right now. 🙏
