Preview a local video, set the start and end, upload only the prepared selection, and share one browser-ready watch link. The basic flow works without an account.
We built Save Replay around a recurring frustration: the useful moment is often 20 seconds inside a much longer capture, but most sharing flows make you transfer the source before choosing it. Save Replay reverses that order. The source previews locally, the browser prepares the selected range, and the uploaded clip gets a stable watch page immediately. We kept the product intentionally focused—start, end, upload, link—and would value feedback on browser compatibility, the trim interaction, and how clearly the public, unlisted, and private choices are explained.
The trim controls feel really precise and the no-account flow is a smart call for something so practical. Love that the share link works straight from the browser.
Honestly, the no-account thing is what got me. I clipped a 20-second highlight from a two-hour recording in under a minute and had a link ready to share. Kind of refreshing to just get it done without signing up first.
Would be great if you could add a trim-by-drag handle right on the timeline preview instead of separate start/end inputs, feels a lot faster when cutting out a quick clip from a long replay.
Trimmed a clip down to just the goal and shared the link with my buddy in under a minute, no signup needed. Super handy for sending actual plays without dumping the full file.

Who hunted Save Replay?
Save Replay was hunted by Alexandru Craciun. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
