I'm the indie developer behind Refuse to Share.
I started this project with a simple frustration: why do we have to waste time rejecting cookies on almost every website we visit, while accepting them often takes just one click?
So I built Refuse to Share, a free Chrome extension that automatically finds safe ways to reject non-essential cookies, saving time and making browsing less frustrating.
But there's also a bigger idea behind it.
I don't believe data sharing is inherently bad. Businesses have legitimate reasons to collect data, and users want to enjoy their services. The problem begins when sharing becomes the easiest option rather than a conscious decision.
I believe we can find a better balance.
Refuse to Share is still growing, and I'm constantly working to improve its reliability and compatibility across websites.
