Hi Product Hunt! I’m sharing RealTimeTranslator on behalf of its developer, AMobileDream. It brings text translation, spoken input and image OCR translation into one Android app.
You can hear original and translated text aloud, and see translated text overlaid on an image. Translation works offline after the language models are downloaded, so prepare those before a trip. Speech input and playback can depend on your device’s speech services.
The app supports 18 languages and is free to install with banner ads. Our actual app recordings demonstrate English-to-Chinese text translation and Chinese voice playback. We’d welcome your thoughts on the everyday situations where you use translation.
