This started with a simple frustration: the blue checkmark is broken. It gets bought, it gets revoked, and it never travels with you. It only tells you a platform vouches for an account, not that the account is actually the person.
RealHandles flips that around. You generate a key right in your browser (it never leaves your device), verify the accounts that are genuinely yours, and sign one portable proof anyone can check. Your key is the identity. Not a login, not a domain, not even us. So even if RealHandles vanished tomorrow, your proof keeps working, and nobody can sign as you.

Love that the signing key stays in my browser and is backed up with my own passphrase instead of sitting on their servers. The single signed manifest idea is clean too, one file tying everything together beats juggling a dozen profile links.
