Every day I open the news and see the same headlines — an elderly woman lost ₹2 lakhs to a fake bank call. A retired teacher clicked a fake KYC link and lost his savings. A young job seeker sent money to a fake recruiter on WhatsApp.
It never stops. And the worst part? These people had no way to check. They couldn't tell what was real and what wasn't.
That's what pushed me to build RealCheck — a free, AI-powered scam detector made specifically for Indian users.
The problem runs deeper than most people realise. Scammers in India don't operate in English. They send messages in Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali — the languages your parents and grandparents actually read and trust. Yet every scam checker online is English-only, built for the West.
So I built one for us - RealCheck.
